Occupy Wallstreet.org

Occupy Wallstreet.org is the place to be for all occupy information.  Check it out and support the 99%.  Protesters are setting up to occupy the Iowa caucuses this January to remind people that our representatives have been bought and paid for by the 1%.  We need representation and our best interests in washington or a new system completely all together.  There is no doubt that votes on certain bills and laws have been manipulated by wallstreet insiders and bankers and big business across the nation.  The state of the economy and standard of living for people all across America have been affected by this.  The mainstream media is not the place to get informed on the issues.  Underground news sources are becoming increasingly viewed and respected and are becoming a threat to the powers that be.  The internet itself is under attack with new laws being planned for censorship purposes under the guise of piracy protection.  If you care about your country you will do what you can to inform yourself and others about what is really going on in the world.  Do not allow the agenda of a few dictate the lives of many.

Kim Jong-il Dead at 69

Kim Jong-il  has died at the age of 69 from a heart attack while riding on a train.  The North Korean communist leader will be replaced by his 27 year old son Kim Jong Eun.  Many experts say that there is a danger of instability in the power exchange as the new young leader has not been fully groomed for his new position.  Korea is a society which respects Confucian ideas of seniority based power.  It does not help that the new leader is so young.  North Korea has reportedly test fired short range missiles off its east coast this morning.  It is believed that this testing was just for improving missiles functioning and had nothing to do with the recent death of their former leader. Kim Jong Eun will be the third generation leader of the Kim Jong family to take over Korea since it's founding.  This family is the only family to hold power in this region since it's formation.  North Korea has quite a history of nuclear weapon development.  In 2006 and 2009 it tested nuclear bombs successfully and have made attempts at uranium enrichment for nuclear weapons.  Sanctions by the UN have slowed down the programs progress in recent years as well as hurt the country's economy.  Candidates for the 2012 elections have already begun their rhetoric on the topic as well.

Is Iran a few months away from a having a nuclear weapon?

Last night's republican debate was filled with questions about Iran and possible US military action that may be taken against them.  There was debate on whether or not they are close to having a "nuke" or whether or not it's our duty to make sure that they don't have one.   Representative Michele Bachmann had a strong debate in that she appeared stronger and took aim at other candidates and challenged them on their controversial positions.  One part of the debate included her telling Ron Paul that he was being completely irresponsible for saying that we have no business promoting war with Iran and that they are not close to having a nuclear weapon.  She stated that an IAEA report came out recently that stated that they are months away from producing a military weapon.  Ron Paul became visibly frustrated and stated that there was no such report and that she had been mislead by the report. The actual report summarizes that they believe there is credible evidence to support that Iran has carried out activities relevant to the development of nuclear weapons.  No where in the report does it state that Iran is months away from developing one of these weapons.  Bachmann was either mislead by the report or was purposely trying to mislead the public and take a typical republican stance on National Security within the last several years.  Ron Paul continually states that he fears we are replaying a scenario like we did when we invaded Iraq.  Jumping the gun in fear that something might happen has proven to be a huge mistake.  He also claims that the fact is, it is the United States constant occupation of other countries that has angered the radicals and caused retaliation.  This does not sit well with many republicans who have completely grasped the idea of radical muslims are solely in existence to kill american's.  Ron Paul states that if the reason that radical's attack us is because of our freedom and prosper then why do they not attack Sweden or Switzerland?  The Iowa polls are very soon and time will tell where the republican party stands on these issues.  I believe the overall feeling of Americans is that the war on Iraq was a mistake and are going to be less likely to jump into a war with Iran without much more solid evidence that we need to do so.

Gingrich on top, suprising Ron Paul gaining ground

Fox News tonight airs yet another republican national debate.  The time for the first caucus in Iowa is near approaching.  Will Newt crumble as he has a tendency to do, or will he remain the top candidate to take on Barack Obama in the 2012 elections this coming November.  Ron Paul has solidified a second place tie in recent poles  with former front runner Mitt Romney.  Paul seems to be the only candidate who has consistently risen his numbers since the beginning of the race.  He states that Newt Gingrich is the 'flavor of the week" for the republican party and also states that he could not support any other republican in this race that is currently running for president because he doesn't actually see there views all that differently from what democrats are trying to do when it comes to the issues that really matter.  More military, more government growth as a whole,  and no way to pay for any of this as they are consistantly lowering taxes.   Fox tonight at 9pm eastern time will mark the last debate before the Iowa caucus.  I'm sure it will be filled with gaffe's from an interesting cast although Herman Cain is out of the race there's plenty of room for blunders from the remaining candidates.

Paul vs. Newt

Gingrich is for the Patriot Act and Ron Paul as excepted is completely against it.  Now that Herman Cain has completely washed out of the campaign marking the 3rd front runner to be short lived and full of more hype than substance.  The absence of Cain has left Newt Gingrich surging to the lead in the poles while Paul steadily as he has done since the early days of the campaign creeping towards the top.  Paul has stated that Newt is the new flavor of the week and it is obvious that Newt believes he has a good shot at the nomination.  He has been in the political arena for quite sometime and knows how to play the game, although he does have quite a bit of bad past and history to overcome at the moment he is succeeding probably his own expectations.

The Occupy UC Davis protest is preparing for a march on the school's campus on November 21st at 12 p.m. PST.  The rally in the quad comes after worldwide attention focused on the Northern California campus after a University of California at Davis police officer pepper-sprayed a line of passive students sitting on the ground.  Two officers have been placed on suspension, and the students have called for the resignation of the Chancellor of UC , Linda Katehi .  Katehi has put out a statement stating that there were no other options.   The students of UC Davis strongly disagree with this and UC has become the center of attention for the Occupy Movement at the moment.

Eviction for Oakland Occupy

According to the Associated Press, Oakland police have issued another eviction notice to the protesters to remove all tents and other belongings from their campsite by a non specified date.  This comes after a man was shot and killed by another man last week.  The men were reportedly arguing yet there has been no connection made with the man who died and the protesters but it did happen in the area.  This notice is the same one given to the protesters shortly before the October 25th raid and riot where police used tear gas on protesters and arrested several.  They were allowed back to the gathering site the following day and the camp has grown considerably since then.  Protesters are stating that the city is using the Occupy Movement as a scapegoat for any violence or any wrong doing in the area as a way to justify blocking their right to protest.  This is most likely the set up for yet another police vs protester scenario coming in the days ahead.

Who's telling the truth?

A British Wallstreet Stockbroker maid claims weeks ago about the coming collapse of the Eurozone on the BBC network.  The news team was visibly stunned.  Within days of this airing on live television millions of people tuned in to watch the youtube version of this video and it has been growing ever since.  With recent news of Italy's problems and more and more talk of the Eurozone collapse, it may become an accurate forecast of what's really about to happen.

25,000$ Gold?

Here Max Keiser predicts that China will come to the Aid of the bankrupt Italy in exchange for their huge gold reserve.   Max Predicts that for the global debt to be cleared that gold will have to be valued at north of 25,000 dollars for that to work out mathematically.   Keep your reserves and buy more gold and silver if you can afford it.

Best Occupy Rant

Best Occupy Wallstreet Rant listen as Chris explains why the protesters are in the streets of New York and elsewhere around the world.

Hold the Gold

Silver and Gold prices have been through the roof over the past year and It is possible that another drop is soon going to be taking place in the market in a matter of days due to CME lowering their margin calls. The truth is that it is not really a time to gamble and sell your physical now in the hopes that maybe you can buy at a lower price and then maybe double or triple your physical holdings when the price does fall. These prices are manipulated day to day and I do not believe accurately reflect the true value of these metals. I believe that the true value lies some where in the 4000 dollar mark for gold and silver to be easily around 250 or so. In other words I do believe that within the next year or so we will see these prices. Take the advice of Pastor Dowell among countless others from YouTube who have been calling gold and silver for years. A crash in the market is just a great oppurtunity to further invest in what will be the best hedge against the inevitable dollar collapse that awaits us. Maybe you can take a gamble and sale your gold and silver but why do that when the truth is nothing in our policy, political system, or even economical situation has truley improved. Selling your physical assets now may mean that in actuality you do not ever get a chance to get them back at a cheaper prices if it just so happens that the market does not drop out from under these metals at all. In fact they may very well spike instantly upon slowly decending, leaving thousands of people who sold their metals, left out of the Gold and Silver bubble that will eventually expand much faster. The gold and silver community does not recommend taking such a chance. Any gold or silver you have in your pocket is worth far more than anyone is going to be willing to pay for it at this moment. On the flip side you can buy gold and silver at a huge discount no matter what your paying for it at recent prices because truthfully it is way undervalued. Act Wisely.

Second Iraq vet Injured, Rush still crazy

The second Iraq war vet has been injured at Occupy Wallstreet. Kayvan Sabeghi, 32 was beaten by police as he made his way home from the occupy crowd. Reports are that he had sustained a lacerated spleen from the incident. No comment has been made yet from police involved. So far reports are that a police barricade stood between him and his home and as he tried to pass police took him down. There truly does seem to be a government vs people attitude growing beneath the surface more each day. In election news Herman Cain launched an ad saying that the attention he is getting over 2 decade sexual harrasement charges are a form of high-tech lynching. Even launching a clever T.V. ad which persuades the case. At one point you can hear a clip of non other than Rush Limbaugh talking about how the"Liberal" media is being blatantly racist against the fine black presidential nominee Herman Cain. Also stating that they are using low ball tactics against him. I can't believe I heard that come from Rush's lips considering the rants I can remember him going on about Barack Obama in an absurdly racist campaign he ran against him on his radio talk show 2 and a half years ago that remains ongoing to this day. I have to admire how Rush doesn't even try to hide his rhetoric, it's as if he just realizes that people so quickly forget in this country.

Triumph at O.W.S.

Conan O'Brian's special correspondent joined in on the fun at Occupy Wallstreet recently.  On his nightly show, he sent Triumph the Insulting Dog to talk to protesters and basically make fun of the loons that are inevitabley mixed in the large crowd here and there. Typical of Conan the piece was hilarious.  The protest itself is not actually as funny as it dredges on approaching two months now.  There have been reports of sexual abuse by a few women who are a spending their nights in tents in the streets of New York. One man, Jeremy Clinch, a homeless man that has been admist the crowds since the beginnings suddenly went on a rampage recently right in the middle of the ongoing protest.  His reasons were that he had been with the protesters from the beginning and still did not have a tent!  Republicans are also jumping in the theatrics as they are continuing to brush off the protests, labeling the protesters as anarchists.  With the exception of Senator Ron Paul. Republicans are pinning Obama to the Occupy Movement saying that his recent call for tax hikes on the rich directly influenced the movement.  Further adding that as this thing gets uglier it will ultimately take him down in the 2012 elections since he is becoming more and more associated with it.  Time will tell.

Pastor Dowell...Silver Going UP!!

This is Pastor Dowell check out his YouTube channel.       Today he is talking about the once again rising silver prices and how it relates to the economic status of this country.  It is believed by many people, more and more each day, that silver and gold are the true money, and that the paper bills that we have become accustom to trading with are truly nothing more than that, paper.  Paper that is backed by nothing and can be printed at will and which the value of this paper is not really certain day to day.  The trend over the course of history has shown that as the value of a currency decreases, the value or amount of things you can purchase with gold and silver in that area rises almost in sync. Hope everyone takes a moment to listen to the perspective of a man who practices what he preaches.

Occupy turns Violent as predicted

Tear gas and violence today at the site of Occupy Oakland reportedly only took a march of around 1000 people to set off police resistance that entailed riot gear, concussion grenades and tear gas.  According to Occupy Oakland.com approximately 5 million dollars has been spent on keeping free speach out of Oakland. This is sure to invoke a much larger gathering very soon.

Media blaming Occupy Wallstreet for increased violence.

The media is blaming the protesters for the increase in crime in New York city due to the police force that has been moved to the site of the protest.  Making them scarce in other parts of the city.  Please consider a different side of this story

Arrests stand at almost 2,500 in New York City

Protest in New York and all over the world are likely to become increasingly violent.  So far it has been reported that almost 2,500 people have been arrested in New York alone.   Many more protests like these are happening all over the country.  In Chicago today 130 people were incarcerated for their partcipation in the Occupy Chicago protests.  The peaceful protests have evidently had some moments of anger and temper flares.  But have all these arrests been justified?  Where is this going.  I do believe that this thing is going to get uglier before it gets better.

Occupy Wallstreet update

Thousands of people are in New York City are protesting the mess  Wallstreet caused in 2008.  Along with the protestors in New York, millions of people across the world are fed up with big banks and too big to fail companies who are being blamed for the loss of billions of dollars from the savings accounts of people across the globe.  The credit default swap scandal that sent the housing market crashing in 2008 has been blamed mainly for this crisis.  No bankers or wallstreet big shots responsible for the gambling that led to the crash have been prosecuted.  In fact many of the richest people in america have only expanded their wealth since 2008.  There is no telling where this will lead as it continues to grow whether you pay attention to it or not.  President Obama continues to state that the reason no one has been prosecuted is because the things that these people were doing that caused this mess, were not technically illegal.  And he is making the case for more corporate regulation and government control.  Some believe that if the government actually wanted to do something about this they could have back in 2008 when in fact they actually ended up bailing everyone out at the top.  They did this by informing the american people that without these bailouts the consequences would be devastating.  The main reason for the Occupy Wallstreet protests, are because despite these bailouts things have not improved, in fact only gotten much worse. And now the bailout debt has been handed down to the average american citizen on top of the fact that they have lost major value in their homes across the board.

Hilarious Cartoon

Economic Collapse

This is Charlie from wide awake news making some interesting points on the possibility of collapse in america and the rest of the world.  Would love to see comments about this video and maybe some arguments in response that may give us all a better clearer picture of what's really going on.

Prepping.....Is there really gonna be a collapse...

There are many people in every part of america who are part of a almost secret community known as Preppers..  These people truly believe that there will be, in the near future,  a major change in our country. They believe that basic necessities will become scares or nearly unaffordable due to hyperinflation or total collapse of the financial system, causing an almost complete hault to business as we know it. Could something like this really  happen?  Well for one thing, similar events have occurred in the past.  One must wonder two things.  Why can't it happen now?  How can it hurt to prepare even if it does not happen?  Prepping consist of acquiring basic necessities at a time when they are readily available.  Things like water, food you can store, tools, hygiene products, guns and ammo.  All very useful things that have shown a trend of rising in price anyway so getting things like this in large quantities now, that you will eventually use anyway, can't be a bad thing.
There are numerous youtube bloggers that provide step by step information on how to store food, what to buy, what to expect if such an event would occur.  Most importantly why it will indeed occur.   This is something that alarms me.  I feel like if something like this were in fact manifesting under the surface in our country.  The masses are not prepared for it.  In fact they are not even paying attention. The truth is... when you look at the economic situation we face and truly do the math, things just don't add up.  I don't see a resolution being made in this time of major political divide.  Corporations have infiltrated our government and no one can doubt that.  Free Market Capitalism is not being practiced when rules are being broken for some and not for others.  Our system seems to be operating under the mask of Capitilism when in fact it is nothing of the sort.   Only time will tell, but time may be running short.  What do you think about this growing phenomenon of people coming forward to warn the masses?  Is it just another attempt by some to make a living? Or is there some real weight to this issue.  All I know for a fact is that if we go through something like we did during the Great Depression in this day in time, there will be alot more pain and suffering due to the instant gratification society that we have built. People are not ready for something like this.

More Wasted Tax dollars$$$

So we decided to look into what we were wasting tax dollars on and found this

I don't agree that all of it is a waste but...a lot of it yes...check it out for yourself this site has tracked $1,230,956,867,592.00. wasted tax dollars.

$400,000 for researchers to cruise bars in Buenos Aires to find out why gay men under the influence of alcohol engage in risky sexual behavior and what can be done about it.

$146,000,000 in one year on Federal Employees first class airline tickets bought in violation of travel policies.

$100 Million for 270,000 airline tickets The Defense Department bought and left unused between 1997 and 2003.

$40 to $80 million from 1981 to 1984 for the Health Care Financing Administration for Medicaid payments to psychiatrists for unscheduled, coincidental meetings with patients who were attending basketball games, setting on stoops, etc.

The U.S. government is spending $2.6 million to make sure prostitutes in China consume less alcohol while working. As part of the five-year study that the National Institutes of Health bankrolled, researchers are visiting more than 100 houses of prostitution to monitor their employees, designated as FSWs, or female sex workers.

Medicare, the U.S. health-insurance program for the elderly and disabled, erroneously paid out $19.9 billionduring fiscal 2004, up from $19.6 billion a year earlier, because of mistakes, waste and fraud, a government report said. In most cases, hospitals and doctors billed for medically unnecessary services or didn't provide proper documentation to support the fees for services.

There's much more information out there and we'll get it to you over time.
In defense of the wasted tax dollars before 2000, we had a surplus and I believe if we were doing well off maybe just maybe we could afford some of this nonsensical research but in regards of the waste once we went into debt there is no excuse except that the man at the top does not care for the man at the bottom at least the ones who were in charge of making these decisions. "Sorry Mr. Congressman we were going to pay you this year but instead we researched how many licks it takes a cat to get to the center of itself...on average...yeah how does that feel."

The real reason marijuana is illegal

Marijuana was a mexican slang term the government overexposed to promote fear of the hemp plant

Thanks to http://www.tpuc.org/content/marijuana-conspiracy

Here's some fun facts about Marijuana:

* Up until the 1880s all schoolbooks were made from help or flax paper.

* It was legal to pay your taxes(in America) with hemp from the 1630s until the 1800s

* During the 17th and 18th centuries it was against the law to refuse to grow hemp. You could be jailed in Virginia for refusing to grow marijuana from 1763 to 1769.

* Many of the founding fathers grew hemp including George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.

* One of the first paper mills in America owned by Benjamin Franklin processed Hemp.

* The war of 1812 was fought over hemp. Napoleon wanted to cut off Moscow’s export to England.

* 90 percent of ships' sails and rope were made from hemp for thousands of years. The word canvas is Dutch for Cannabis.

* Until the introduction of the cotton gin in the 1820s 80 percent of all textiles, fabrics, clothes, linen, drapes, bed sheets, etc.,were made from hemp

* The first Bibles, maps, charts, Betsy Ross’s flag, the first drafts of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were made from hemp

* The first crop grown in many states was hemp. 1850 was a peak year for Kentucky producing 40,000 tons.Hemp was the largest cash crop until the 20th century.

* In 1916, the U.S. Government predicted that by the 1940s all paper would come from hemp and that no more trees need to be cut down. Government studies report that 1 acre of hemp equals 4.1 acres of trees. Plans were in the works to implement such programs.

* In 1938, hemp was called ‘Billion Dollar Crop.’ It was the first time a cash crop had a business potential to exceed a billion dollars.

Now how it got its bad name.

Kimberly Clarks division for Hearst Paper Manufacturing ran by William Randolph Hearst owned acres of timberlands. The company was the main supply for paper products. The grandfather of Patty Hearst(whom destroyed natural habitats for riches) could have lost billions due to hemp.

DuPont patented the processes to make plastics from oil and coal in 1937. They encouraged stockholders to invest in its new petrochemical division in their Annual report.
Plastics, cellophane, celluloid, methanol, nylon, rayon, Dacron and other synthetics could now be made from oil. Over 80% of DuPont’s business would have been ruined by Natural Hemp industrialization.

Hoover’s Secretary of the Treasury and DuPont’s primary investor, Andrew Mellon appointed his future nephew-in-law,Harry J.Anslinger, to head the Federal Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs.

These financial tycoons held secret meetings and determined hemp was a "dangerous" because it was bad for their big-business and their dynasties. They took an obscure Mexican slang word ‘marijuana’ and emphasized and exaggerated it into the consciousness of America.
